It's the time of year where Habapi celebrate the long days and plentiful food in the Matsana Jungle! Meridias is honored with food offerings and the habapi decorate her with all kinds of jungle flowers, joining her at the crystal for bonfires, music, and dancing.

In Lar Cantio, habapi play games to win vouchers for festival items, and some paths are lined with booths selling these foods and other goods.

Long Suffering Meridias is honored throughout the year, but especially during festivals, as is her right as the protector of the Habapi and their way of life.

New Habapi "Companions"

Habapi are unlikely to keep living things as pets/companions. Many jungle creatures are seen as either potential meals or respected neighbors, so habapi just don't have that sort of relationship with other creatures. However, they do have their own creations, such as Kilnkin and Creta Dolls. Creta Dolls are made from red clay and fabric and imbued with magic from elemental runes and creta runes. Creta magic gives these dolls life, which allows them to toddle around and chatter. The will of the creator of the doll determines that dolls personality and how it behaves. It's unknown whether these dolls existed before the Loss of Magic era.

Habapi even make dolls of Miatians!

Some of these dolls can be crafted with recipes available at JUNGLE TRADER; others are ready-made and sold at JUNGLE TRADER or during Summerpeak Festival at the FESTIVAL PRIZE BOOTH. Complete festival prompts to earn Festival Tokens to get some recipes and dolls without runebits!

Red Clay Crafting MAterial

A new material is available for crafting the habapi creta dolls. Red clay is separated according to it's creta stone content. Clay with little or no magical creta stone magic is made into household items and goods while clay that has creta particulate in it can be made into Creta Pots, Creta Dolls, Kilnkin and other magical items. 

Red clay can be obtained via doing the Sunpeak festival prompts, the Jungle Delight prompts or by purchasing from the Jungle Trader shop for 20 runebits (kilnkin drops).

New Base Traits & Nixie Traits

New Habapi Crystal Traits are now available! Get them at the Festival Prize Booth after doing prompts and earning Festival Tokens! Traits include Nixie cheeks (fin-like cheek protrusions), Nixie Tail (a fish-like tail), and Nixie Hooves (webbed hooves).

Sunpeak Festival Prompts 

Find three limited prompts to enjoy with your Habapi this month! 

• Rustle and Splash! You have three minutes to be the bapi who finds/catches the most impressive ANYTHING in the waters of the riverbank!! 
• Jungle Sundae! Using only the ingredients they find in the jungle, your bapi  makes an ice cream or shaved ice treat!
• The Longest Day of the Year! Your bapi celebrating the holiday in any way they like!

Prompts will earn Festival Tokens which can be used as a coupon at the Festival Prize Booth!

These prompts have no background requirement but can only be done once per habapi you own! If you do not have a Habapi you can use the Hapabi NPC Tatera.
