To access your characters, click the Home tab on the navigation bar and select "My Characters".
Select your character to go to their Masterlist Entry.
From here use the left navigation bar to select "edit profile" (near the bottom of the list).
Here you can enter your character's name, add a profile link and pick your character's location and faction. For the Profile link we highly reccomend a Toyhouse link OR a link to a good image referance for your character. For locations, there are Towns for domestic beps and Regions for wild beps and shroomkin, and only habapi can live in Lar Cantio, visit the World Map for more information. Faction is which storyline you would like your character to follow, visit the Factions page for more information. You may change your faction at any time but it WILL ERASE your current storyline progress, if you have any. Shroomkin and Habapi only have one faction each.
It is optional to write about your character in the Profile Content box, but if you do other players will be more likely to include your characters in their prompts!
There are toggles to allow you set if you would like your charcter to be available for gift art/writing, breeding and trade. you can change these at any time.
The updated profile will have your toggle options reflected in the top right corner of the character's masterlist entry. This allows people to quickly see if your character is open/closed/ask first for gift art/writing, breeding and trade.

Aiti Beast Trial 9: The Shadow Well
Details
As day turns to dusk your aiti feels wind pass by their flank, as they turn around to look at the cause, they see a curious creature. A corva, much larger than any usual bird or their species and with a stark appearance. This one is split right down the middle with one black side and one white. Many, many seasons have passed since any elkh has spotted this particular corva, for she is not any regular bird, she is a demigod, Corvääni, the messenger from the Goddess Aiti herself.
“I come to you today, not with a message from Aiti, but with an urgent call from Afra, the justice of the shadow well. As you know, Afra guards the shadow well, keeping in balance the two opposite natures of shadow, compose and caprice. Without caprice shadow has no life or movement but without compose, shadows cannot be contained and spread everywhere, removing color from its surroundings.
There has been a disruption at the well, Afra has been weakened and captured in her minish state, throwing off the balance of compose and caprice. We must release them and funnel the escaped shadow through them and back into the well.
The escaped shadows may be tricky to spot, my children the corva can help guide you if you do not have shadow magic. Use your magic to free Afra, capture these shadows and restore balance to the Well. The shadows are much easier to catch if you yourself are trained in the art of Shadow Step.”
The messenger has alerted your aiti of the danger that has erupted from the shadow well. How did this even happen? Regardless there is no time. Use your aiti to catch the shadows sapping the color from environment. Once Afra is free from imprisonment they can funnel the shadows back into the Well regaining their true form.

Shadow Step magic is super effective against other shadows! If your elkh does not have shadow step, wild corva can guide them, helping your elkh separate the escaped shadow from regular darkness. Prompts using Shadow Step magic will count extra toward the group goal.
Setting
Though the Shadow Well is in the northern Buckh Mountains, shadows have escaped and have appeared across Silkassa and Miatias. See the World Map page for details.

AFRA TRAPPED AT THE SHADOW WELL
With Afra in their weakened minish form they have been trapped inside a gnarled root cage and are unable to escape. You may depict your aiti at the Shadow Well freeing Afra from their imprisonment.
Instructions
Show your aitielkh or habapi capturing the escaped shadows and/or releasing Afra from their imprisonment. (If you don't have an aitielkh or habapi, you can use Noë, who has lv1 proficiency in all magic, once.) (You may use aiti / sono aitielkh from anywhere in the world)
OBJECTIVES
The group must work together to accomplish the end goal.
Draining shadow Points
The following count for draining shadow points:
- Submitting a prompt (1 point)
- Using level Intermediate magic (1 point)
- Using level Mastery magic (2 points)
- Using Shadow Step magic (1 point)
The max amount of points that can be earned per prompt is 4.
You cannot earn points for more than one aiti per prompt.
You cannot earn points using someone else's aiti in your prompt.

REWARDS
Individual rewards:
Players may submit up to 5 prompts total and receive a Beast Box for each entry. The level of Beast Box corresponds with the level of magic your aitielkh used in the prompt. For example, if your aitielkh used Aiti's Healing: Awakening, you would receive a Lv1 Beast box. If they used Aiti's Healing: Mastery, you would receive a Lv3 Beast Box.
Habapi only have one level of magic and have their own beast box with habapi rewards.
Each prompt entry will also receive standard Prompt Rewards.

You may draw up to 2 corva helpers and will receive 2 bonus gildes each per corva drawn. Written prompts can claim additional gildes as long as they include/describe the corva.
If included, Afra counts counts as an additional character. Minish Afra is black and the size of a young wolf with white antler nubs. Afra in their full form is twice the size of a mountain elkh.

Details
Elkh have found your aitielkh and appealed to them for help—a highly unusual meeting! It seems the shrines have been desecrated and have a foul presence. The aitielkh connection to Aiti herself may serve them to help. Go to the shrine and offer prayers to clear the troublesome spirits away.

Costumes in Silkkassa
Storytelling Night is coming up on October 31st, and that means it's time for your beps and their human friends to dress up! Costumes can be made from fabric, bones, paper, wood, hunted animal skulls/bones, deer antlers, and other natural items. Things one might dress up as include gnomes, goblins, demons, sea monster, a bearlike forest spirit, dragons, various spirits (lake spirits, river spirits, harvest spirits)- however you might envision them.
Wild elkh may dress up to impress their friends with the help of a Shroomkin pal.
Aiti may also celebrate by donning a costume, especially fawns, but they are made out of forest materials or by using magic to alter their appearance. These aiti celebrate strictly in the forest by themselves, far away from villages and using no man-made materials.
