Beast Trials Wrap-Up

This is our first failed trial!
In reality, we had an extremely successful MotA event which left everyone with plenty of Beast Tokens, meaning there was little reason to complete these prompts. In-world, something has gone amiss and not all of the portals were found, so the search must continue.

The prompt will remain open for the next month. If we can reach the new goal, shadow portals (fast travel for aitielkh) will unlock! Completing this prompt will now award one magic crystal in addition to the usual rewards. The prompt can be completed up to 5 times by one player.

The Future of Beast Trials

Since we have uncovered all of our magic mentors, beast trials are due to be restructured for the future. We will be taking a break from trials for the summer while we make new plans (kofi Beast subscribers will get their choice of one Lv3 beast box during the usual time the next trial will take place).

Let's welcome BlossomBeast aka Honey, who recently joined the mod team! Honey has been a longtime player who helped us come up with ideas early on in the group (think Seasonal Plot Prompts). We felt she would be a good fit to help us come up with fresh ideas going forward, so we hope you will look forward to some of the new features we come up with together!

Fawn Growth Event

During the month of May, grow your elkh fawn by doing just one prompt instead of the usual 4! You'll receive a locked Growth Ticket when you complete this limited prompt. Check the daily calendar for occasional goodies to add to your fawn too! You'll need to draw or commission art of your grown elkh for the masterlist after the promt is completed, but there is no time limit for that.

Changes to Gen Prompts + Gen and Giftart Rewards

The general prompts category has gotten an overhaul! We have set mini prompts and Followers of Aiti retired prompts aside for the time being, and instead we have reintroduced general art rewards. There are now PROMPTS to submit your general art and gift art, as well as commissioned art, to easily receive rewards. The prompts in this category could just be considered suggestions for art to make to develop your character, so we hope you will enjoy having the freedom to make those choices yourself going forward. A list of ideas (retired mini prompts) is available on the General Art turn-in prompt if you miss them!

General art/writing is art/writing that was made independently of any prompts or events on the site.
Gift art/writing is art/writing that was made independently of any prompts or events on the site, as a gift for someone else.
Commissioned art/writing is art/writing that was made independently of any prompts or events on the site, which you paid someone else money to make for you (does not include trades).

Submitting previously made General & Gift art

For this month only, you may submit old art that fits these categories to receive rewards, but only art/writing which is up to one year old (this is on the honor system- you don't need to prove it). After this month, you will no longer be able to submit old art for rewards. You cannot submit gift art that has already received rewards such as Giving Gala, Yule Exchange, or Featured Character art.

Find a new plush (Mox) and new pet (Bat (Gray Faced)) in the Elkh shop this month only!

Build-a-Bep Server Raffle

We built a bep in the discord server using polls, and it will now be raffled off for free (in the server)! Join the server to participate in games like this (see Resources >DISCORD).

New Crafting Recipes

Everyone now has access to two new crafting recipes, both of which use any elkh crafting materials you have on hand.

6 new felvits are available in the Surprise Felvit Box!

This Box of Gildes contains between 5 and 40 gildes!

Bepotelkh Lore of the Month

Surrounded by ocean, Silkkassa and Miatias rely on fishermen to bring in many of their meals and sailors to bring imports from afar. Sturdy elkh may aid in various tasks at sea, and ships are often designed with these companions in mind. What would normally be smooth wooden decks are actually studded with wood or iron protrusions to give everyone more traction. Like many doorways on buildings, the forecastle portal is large enough to accommodate antlers as well. An elkh's strength can be useful for hauling up nets and moving cargo.
