It was dawn when Stryga woke up to start her day. Yawning and stretching to get the blood flowing as she stood up in her stall. Every elkh was still asleep as she munched on a piece of bread that was already sliced for her. The gardens needed work to be done and now was the perfect time when no one was around to bother while she tended them. Lipping the latch open from her stall, she started to leave out and into the early morning air....
