Kutoa is on a mixture of forest and prairie, and they make their living by making baskets, tools, and textiles. Despite the short growing season, several crops are grown here as well, but the area is mostly known for its massive sheep herd. Knitting and felting by a warm fire is a popular winter pastime and source of income for Kutoans. Beps may find employment here as shepherds assistants, as they are gentle enough to befriend the sheep but powerful enough to fend off predators.
