Lerios

Miatian Village

Can be home to characters.

A place for: artisans, metalsmiths, candlemakers.

Pronunciation: Ler-ee-ose

The Southernmost own; Lerios is of course on the Orowa River. While it is cradeled by the river, it also has the Matsana mountains looming over it from the West. This town is a bit lower elevation than the others. Lerios is well known for its many metalsmithing artisans, lanternmaking, candlemaking, and glassmaking. It can be seen as twinkling lights at night from high up in the mountains. They export artisan goods and salt, primarily. Lerios has a close relationship with both Tama and Havi because of their relative proximity. The adobe buildings are a little more gray here due to different soils, but otherwise appears similar to other Miatian towns with many shade cloths and water troughs throughout. What stands out is the extensive lighting decoration which is especially breathtaking at night (including many shapes & sizes of lanterns with several different kinds of materials), and displays of colorful hanging glass bottles are common.
